What role do you have to play in the party now?
I have no role. I have retired from politics. I will not take part in any form of politics. I will now indulge myself in the development of my land.
A person in Delhi claims to be your son. Please comment?
Jo beet gayi so baat gayi. I do not want to comment on anything about anyone. I am looking towards the future now. The past is past.
What about the tapes and the allegations against you being involved with sex workers inside the Raj Bhawan when you were the governor?
I do not want to clarify anything. As I said, jo beet gayi so baat gayi. I have forgotten the past. It is behind me now.u00a0
Was there any pressure from the high command demanding your resignation?
Why would there be any pressure. No one forced me to resign. I have been serving the people since the freedom movement during the British days. I have therefore resigned on health grounds. There was no pressure from anywhere.
Will you going to Delhi to meet Congress officials?
I have no role to play as a politican anymore. I do not see any reason to go to Delhi and talk to anyone. From now on, wherever I see a need for development, not just in my state, but outside also, I will go there and help them.
